At this point, I don't think the democratic party platform is even about trying to turn centrist voters so much as convincing republican legislators be nice to them.
ICE is now posing as bail agents.
If you are approached by someone claiming to be a bail agent, you have the right to ask to see their license and state-issued ID & bond documentation authorizing them to take the person.
Minnesota maintains a statewide list of approved bail bond agents online.
