Post China is probably a bit early. I would wait until after Japan, assume that Bahrain and Saudi are off, and go down to either Barcelona or Paul Ricard to test some options out with the teams - as well as giving the likes of AM some mileage to help sort out their issues.
The last regβs were probably not conceived correctly and the cars were just too big. The new regs were conceived in a different environment and they possibly went too far to appease OEMβs, but Iβm sure the current issues can be resolved over the next couple of years.
The pragmatic approach being, Melbourne was OK but there are a few issues. Letβs see what the next few races bring and make a decision then. Making knee-jerk reactions isnβt the most clever thing to do.
Its somewhat of the case that they have cut their nose off to spite their face - travelling along around the world will have a far greater carbon impact than all the cars running at GPβs combined.

Twelve years after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 vanished with 239 people aboard, a renewed deep-sea search in the southern Indian Ocean has so far failed to locate the missing aircraft, Malaysian authorities said Sunday, as families pressed for the effort to continue.
That's absolutely fair, but with F1 in its current state, having OEM's is essentially academic. It's more important to have people watching and circuits/countryies paying.
Virgin Atlantic will suspend flights from London Heathrow to Dubai from 10 March until 28 March, when it was due to end for the season.

UK - Asia capacity is a massive issue at the moment. Much needed.
Azerbaijan just closed airspace "in the south of the country" per Bloomberg macro squawk. Losing that link would have a massive impact on Europe-Asia (incl the Indian subcontinent and ANZ) air travel.

We have a departure home with Qatar in two weeks, but will monitor this situation closely.
Looks great!
That, plus us in Europe getting to the Far East and Australia with much less capacity, already driving up the prices.
Iraq, Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, UAE & Jordan make up a staggering 13.2% of scheduled flying capacity globally. The sheer volume of air traffic flowing through the Mid East underscores how central it has become for human transportation and the global economy.

Being Bahrain, they could at least escape to Saudi if needed (as long as it's safe to do so).
Unlike some agents who refuse to help when someone hasn't booked with them - in times of a crisis professionals should be there no matter who they have booked with to at least give guidance. It's a poor reflection of what our industry has become.

A proper british airline!
If you're making that much - spend some of it on making a more premium product.
British Airways CEO Sean Doyle has confirmed that the first of 32 Boeing 787-10 aircraft ordered by the airline last year will be delivered to its base at Gatwick, to start the replacement of the Boeing 777-200 fleet.
Airlines have a one-size-fits-all approach to passenger assistance, and it sucks.
It also saves airlines a ton of money because they outsource the responsibility and then stop caring.

AI for marketing is incredibly poor.
The question being, surely the travel, transport and infrastructure is going to be more important as a carbon than 22 cars travelling around a 3 mile circuit maybe 120 a weekend. This then pales into insignificance, just for the βkudosβ of doing it.
