This is my peeve about so many cis white men in our culture, they absolutely have an unfortunate tendency to think that if anyone else can do something, particularly if the anyone else happens to be a woman, of color, LGBTQ, etc, then obviously whatever it is they're doing can't be all that hard.
As if he just opted out of either opera or ballet and could just pick either of them up at a whim and be any good at either of them. Little shit.

does he need to be canceled forever? no. but i hope the backlash is severe enough that he’s at least guilted into funding some ballet and opera programs. get the kardashian jenners in on it too
it’s even worse when you know that his grandmother, mom & sister all danced for the NYC ballet. Timothée Chalamet started out so lovable, but this was such a misogynistic, smarmy thing to say. it’s hard to like him now.
