I shed a tear listening to a recording of the bench decision. This is my America.
Civ 7 comes out on February 11th 2025.
If they wanted to take over the country, they only had to wait like three weeks until every technocratic nerd was unreachably distracted.
They fundamentally do not understand us, and that is why they will lose.
I was talking with my mother about this the other day. I think this is her lane. We all have our part to play.
Note to self: if you ask your favorite streaming service to play 90s British pop music as a pick me up, keep in mind Radiohead is in that category. #ThisIsWhatYouGet
Early Morning Love Poem Duvet, you are so groovet, Iβd like to stay under you all of Tuesdet. Brian Bilston
Early morning love poem.
It feels like the universe let us have this one thing as a treat.
Today in US History: On Feb. 3, 1870, the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, granted black men the right to vote. It was passed by Congress on February 26, 1869. Black Americans were set free by the 13th amendment. The 14th Amendment guaranteed citizenship.

The hunt for exemptions begins. Get in line.
Is it bad that I feel encouraged by this?
Call local offices!
West Virginiaβs scores held steady on an education assessment called the Nationβs Report Card, but its academic performance remained below that of most states.
Yes! We get to see some leadership!
This. Throw every single obscure point in Robert's Rules of Order on the table. Channel your inner Hermes.
If there is any doubt that tariffs are passed through to consumers, the cost of propane to heat my house just went up by the amount of the tariff
The illusion is fading for a growing number of folks too.
It's starting to directly affect folks, particularly rural folks.
Turbulent times ahead.
Todayβs Black History lesson comes from Carter G. Woodson, the father of Black History month.
(Lecture notes below)
Happy Black History Month! Here is my favorite story about a Black American you may not know about: Robert Smalls. He commandeered a confederate ship and sailed himself, his family, and the other enslaved crew and their families to freedom. THROUGH waters controlled by the Confederacy.
Like Katherine Johnson, I'm from #WestVirginia. In WV, we take history seriously. We even have a contest for it in 8th grade.
I won that contest in 1998.
I never learned about her until I was an adult. Or Carter Woodson. Or Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Or Bill Withers.
I didn't learn WV History.
A digital illustration of Robert Smalls. His bust portrait is in the center. He is a black man with a beard, depicted in his younger days, wearing a dark coat over a white shirt and bow tie. Below him is a depiction of The Planter, the confederate steam ship he stole and sailed to Union lines to free himself and several other enslaved people with him. Under the ship is a banner with the words βMake Your Own Freedomβ. Around all this is gold filigree framing lettering reading βRobert Smallsβ. The drawing is all monochrome on a mottled blue with gold and white highlights.
I havenβt heard if weβre allowed to do Black History Month now but Iβm posting this thing I drew about Robert Smalls anyway
It makes perfect sense too considering how much the US auto industry is entangled with Canadian manufacturing.
ππππ I'm new to all this, nevermind me . . .
If it's any solace, I can't see who you quote posted . . .
Black Appalachian history is the most erased history.
Change my mind.
(Yes, Pittsburgh is #Appalachia)
Here, local eggs are cheaper.
I haven't been out today, but I live in #WestVirginia.
I GUARANTEE people are out there panic buying all the things.
