- Who takes over;
- Interceptor shortages from sustained drone retaliation;
- How to defend US bases in the region;
- Threats to ships in the Strait of Hormuz; and
- How to evacuate Americans with airspace closed.

I’m struck by how every day the admin is like “whoever could have foreseen these consequences?!” when the consequences thus far — evacuations, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, rise in gas prices, etc. — are all the literal most obvious consequences.
On Sunday morning, as US bombs fell on Iran, Pope Leo XIV stood and did what popes do. He called for peace.
Within hours, MAGA erupted.
MAGA personality Mike Cernovich called Leo a “sh*tlib” and a “far left wing agitator who wants Americans to surrender their guns.”
It only got worse from there.
Trump has assumed the power of a king – to decide whether people live or die, based on his personal preference.
We see it in Iran, on the high seas, and in the streets of Minneapolis.
We must take away Trump’s license to kill and re-impose the rule of law.
