If this is true, such a publication is terrifyingly unprepared to combat a fascist takeover in progress. To suggest that there is a 'case' for what the regime is doing is to be complicit in their propaganda for policies and decisions that are meant to destroy democracy, free press, the rule of law.

I don't demand anything. But I don't believe that people who take actions that result in such widespread mass death and oppression that claim to be humanists are acting in good faith. A strategy and the people who advocate it should be judged by its obvious and predictable results.

It takes work to get the ppl one wants on the ballot. A movement that wants to just post a lot and point a metaphorical gun at minorities and our democracy to get what they want is cruel and foolish. We see the fruit of that strategy. It's driven Dems right instead because that 'wins'.

I will always vote for the least fascist candidate. If the 'best' of our country would rather stay home than do so, we will perish along with the more vulnerable people too many have turned our backs on out of pique or bigotry. Motivation doesn't matter.
