In 1900, 31% of all deaths were children under the age of 5. Today it’s 0.7%. Vaccines, medications, and modern science are the reason why. Trust the science, it’s been proven to work safely and efficiently time and time again.

We used to run a small space heater in the bathroom where our pipes would freeze, which would allow them to thaw even behind the cabinet wall. That being said, since you can’t know if they’ve burst, it’s a bit of a risky move.
Don’t threaten me with a good time
Time to channel my network.
My current contract expires at the end of the month. So I am looking for new opportunities. Do you know anyone who can use a very experienced #SQLServer developer, specialized in query tuning? Please reach out!
Reposts appreciated. #OpenToWork
Sometimes you don’t need to do your own research. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Do you have any idea how badly you have to fuck up a website to get a band that relies on social media to sell tickets to our little shows and stuff to nuke an account where we had 160k followers
A lot of things suck in this lifetime, but I remember when the thought of this was incomprehensible. This is beautiful.
A picture of the inside of 30th Street Station, showing the great height of the ceiling and the size of the chandeliers.
It’s been many years since I was in Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. The scale is still grand, but I miss the big clacking information board.
Well that’s a first for me… seeing a show at Union Transfer and someone had a crying baby in the audience. #UTPhilly
If you see this, quote with your first anime ever.
Do the transforms in the SQL, not in the visualization tool

We always had my grandmother’s “special green bean casserole.” When I was in college, my mom informed me it was the recipe from the French’s fried onion container. 😂 I’ve tweaked it a little (Worcestershire sauce for umami!), but it’s basically the same as I remember.
I make green bean casserole every year, regardless of number of guests. I just scale the amount.
Why wasn’t the optimizer using my index? Oh, because someone dropped it? Cool cool cool.
What's happened to X proves the need for Bluesky. The future company is a possible adversary. We make decisions knowing that we won't always be here or won't always be able to control the company's decisions. It's why we've given you the freedom of exit to go elsewhere w your followers and data.
I think I still have my StarCraft ISOs somewhere…
I got an “Account suspended” message. 🙌🏻
For what part of this are you looking for a term to use? The extraction into same-schema files? The combined external table/view? The overall strategy?
I’d call the splitting “partitioning” and the readable object a partitioned view.
Very happy to have it be truly Visual Studio-based, instead of a fork of an old branch. Now we get all their nice additions and improvements!
If you see this, post a concert photo you took.
Soul Coughing was my favorite band in college, but I never got to see them live. When I heard they were reuniting for a tour 25 years later, I was more excited than I’d been in a long time. This show was everything I wanted it to be. #soulcoughing
