As an archivist, coming across a second catalogued collection for my great-grandfather has made a great end to the week! Even better that itβs only a couple of hours from me: archives.worc.ox.ac.uk/records/PDR/9 #FamilyHistory #Ancestry

#FamilyHistory on the brain today: Eveline Cunnington (1901-1984), my longest-lived and last-surviving great-grandparent - who died on this day forty years ago. We missed out on meeting by just a few days! #Ancestry #Genealogy
Good question! Probably GG grandfather Ernest Jones (95) - my father was entirely unaware that their lives overlapped by 14 years. Only (grainy) photo from newspaper report of 2nd marriage
