Very interesting. I’m a (happy and somewhat innovative) law firm owner in Canada and taught the Business of Law course at the University of Windsor, happy to connect if that could be valuable.

While we live in Canada, I felt it was still important to share this post. When Emery was diagnosed with #Duchenne in 2012, we hoped for but didn’t have any certainty that new treatment would arise. Ems was part of the #Givinostat drug trial-his & others’ fearlessness will help change the 🌎 for #DMD

Magic in the mundane
I’m sharing @gurdeeppandher.bsky.social wonderful article below, especially for the #Duchenne #DMD community. It feels so heavy and so hard, all the time, because it is. But our boys are children or were, and so were we once. There is magic to be found, even in the mundane.

So happy to see the Remarkable Life of Ibelin discussed in the Algorithm Breakers. A film about community, what it is to live while dying from #Duchenne. @mattgalloway.bsky.social this film is part of why I messaged you about the value of social media and an online life for kids with disabilities.

Imagine a world with more Slaight Family Foundations. A world of giving and hope, and possibility for all. I’m incredibly proud of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Hospital for their leadership role in this phenomenal donation and the legacy it will create.
