most of that time was me implementing the adjustable difficulty (and adding other stuff like sound effects) when I realised it could be today's cart, after getting the art a couple hours after I asked. really wasn't expecting to release a collab cart today!
this might be my fastest collab ever?! the time between me reaching out and releasing the cart was less than 12 hours lol

but that's why the cloud island feature is the most appealing thing about pokopia to me. being able to share a world with friends without needing to be online at the same time sounds really nice...
i'm still burnt by buying both switch and pc versions of monhun rise at launch to play with friends, and I never ended up getting to play either versions with anyone
maybe if enough of my friends get it and want me to play with them

I really like the "The 'Gram" feed, it makes it so much easier to catch up on art posted by people I follow. A shame it was made by someone with a disdain for artists, and that there seem to be no other alternative feeds with similar functionality
what is with the trend of budget models of devices having fun colours while the high end top-spec models must look Boring
so many cool little tech project videos are becoming "i had chatgpt do this work for me" and its so fucking disappointing! ben eater did that in one of his videos recently too.

i used to type mainly in american english because that's what most of the internet uses, but I'm using australian/british english more often now because I want to push back against the USA acting like the centre of the world

whatever happens next, I'm glad I was able to work alongside cool people I admire and somehow managed to bring on board, as well as cool new people I met through this project. and to finally have something big that I worked a lot on actually get released for once! (a demo counts as something)
it's far from perfect, I'm well aware. but i think the ambition and effort everyone on the team put into it is clearly visible (and audible). I hope people like it for the most part, or at least appreciate that we tried to make something special
