Here's hoping that unarmed combat is a viable option in this system for Nazi-punching purposes!

A bit of confirmation bias, but doing a reading of Lord of the Rings was fun in that I regularly got to hear other peoples' thoughts on the books.

On RPGNet and EN World I reviewed Heroes of Tara, a beautiful historical fantasy setting inspired by Irish history and legends for #dnd #5e!

Over on @rpg.net I finished a review of the Frank & K Tomes, a set of 3.5 homebrew where the baseline are highly optimized spellcasters using game-breaking exploits! #dnd

Elon Musk being the richest man in the world is the best argument against capitalism.
Forgotten Realms fans are going to be eating good in 2026! #dnd #5e
Hank Hill from King of the Hill is at a Renaissance fair, dressed in a period-appropriate green-brown tunic. He is talking to a man dressed as a king complete with cape, crown, and royal emblem of a shield with red and purple stripes. The king has a confused look on his face, while people in the crowd behind him look bored and unenthusiastic.
I'm reading Chivalry & Sorcery, a ttrpg that really goes all-in on in-depth rules for medieval simulation. The character creation has 20 steps, and a huge amount of highly-specific occupations. One of them is charcoal merchant, which gave me an idea to try and build a "medieval Hank Hill"
A bearded warrior with a blade and transparent shield-like barrier is fighting off four monstrous humanoids. One has a swollen head and tentacle-like tail, another has a head which is entirely a toothy maw with many tongues, another has a sharp bony exoskeleton and incisors, and another has its face and arms covered in cancerous growths.
I finished a review for Dungeons of Drakkenheim for #5e #dnd by the @dungeondudes.bsky.social . An excellent dark fantasy sandbox with a touch of cosmic horror and politicking between rival factions, all while exploring a city rent asunder by cosmic horrors!

a trio of evil-looking masked figures sit in a rowboat sailing across a sewer river. In front of them stands a rat, which due to the perspective and angle of the illustration places an unexpected amount of importance on the animal.
From the new Adventures in #faerun book for #dnd.
When death and tyranny reign supreme...
When there's no epic-level NPCs to save the day...
One rat, in one city...
Is all that stands against the tide of darkness spreading across FaerΓ»n!
Tracy Hickman's post on Facebook has me excited. Joe Manganiello (guy in the middle) was working on a #dragonlance tv series, and last year it was thought dead in the water. Eager to see further developments!

A hooded man in blue robes and crystal necklace resides upon a throne. He grasps a crystal-tipped staff with a frowning expression.
Imagine an alternate timeline for the #dnd world of #dragonlance. One where the Wizards of High Sorcery stepped in to provide order during the Cataclysm, forging a Magocracy of Ansalon. Necromantic nobility, Storm Barons of the eastern islands, and more await you!

A hyena-person wearing a Pharaoh's crown reaches out to a glowing ankh. Beneath him, an army of hyena-people march across sandy dunes as a party of adventures and a black dragon battle the horde.
Check out this review for Sands of Doom, a 5th Edition #dnd sandbox adventure path where the PCs travel across the Arabian-Egyptian inspired lands of Kirat, gathering Divine Relics to thwart a risen gnoll warlord!

After much time and work, I completed writing this alternate timeline for #dnd #dragonlance! Enter a dark fantasy version of Krynn where Raistlin's war against the gods is causing the world to come undone! Fight moonfallen horrors, crazed cultists, and more!

A feathered coatl-like dragon with one blue, glowing claw weaving a spell into existence.
Have you ever wanted to ride a dragon into battle? How about riding an undead dragon wielding spell-storing runes into battle against cosmic horrors from beyond reality? Check out my review for Itza's Guide to Dragonbonding for #dnd #5e!

I recently finished reading Flee, Mortals by MCDM Productions, and I get the hype. From variant CR threat levels and roles for many of the classic humanoid monsters to Retainer/Companion rules for monstrous sidekicks, it's perhaps the best "monster manual" for #dnd #5e I've read.
I was recently inspired to check out classic RPG video games from the 80s and 90s after checking out some of the D&D Gold Box classics. Came across a rather...odd-sounding title. With a name like that, I was surprised to find out it wasn't an eroge! #rpg

Three dragons in intimidating poses. One has a crystalline halo and partial robe, while the other two have spiked armor covering their tails and spines.
I finished a review of Battlezoo Ancestries: Dragons by
@rollforcombat.bsky.social. I cover both #5e and #pathfinder2e versions. The best rules for dragon PCs I've seen in an RPG!

Thousands of fans have flocked to a Thailand zoo to celebrate the first birthday of Moo Deng, the baby pygmy hippo that's become a social media sensation.
Ed Greenwood (creator of the Forgotten Realms) is currently doing a Let's Play of Baldur's Gate 3. Looks like he's playing a githyanki wizard; quite an unorthodox choice! #bg3 #baldursgate3 #dnd

Was talking on a forum about Golarion's metaplot for #pathfinder2e. Between the Worldwound sealing and Cheliax losing territory and ending slavery, seems like demons and devils weakening in power. So where does that leave daemons? Perhaps as a new BBEGroup?
I recently finished Dawnsbury Days, a fun video game utilizing the #pathfinder2e rules. Unlike Solasta or Baldur's Gate 3 you really need to ensure that your entire party synergizes in terms of strategy. Making party members in a vacuum hurts more than in the 5e games if you have weak spots.
Someone made a very robust #bg3 mod that converts the system to #pathfinder2e. Always happy to find another excuse to dive right back into this beautiful game.

Really excited. I beat DQ1 way back in the day, but never got past the infamous Road to Rhone in 2. This time, I'm going to beat the game for real!
Today I played and finished a rather offbeat game. Concept derives from the unsettling atmosphere of liminal spaces. Perhaps the most relaxing horror game I've played. Downside is that it's not the kind of game to have much replay value.

I'm self-conscious about my creative work and never think it's good enough, so I haven't promoted my first solo product much. But I guess I might as well.
D&D 5e (2014) subclasses and some other stuff. Should be mostly compatible with 2024. It's cheap!

Today I finished reading the #pathfinder 2e Lost Omens World Guide. It was a relatively breezy read at its page count of 130 and was easy enough to navigate. While it doesn't do anything truly new or innovative, the Guide does have something for everyone and the metaplot updates are cool.
