I love it when I find a book that changes the way I think about the whole world. This is one of them. Brief and powerful, I savored every word. @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social

This is a great, engaging read about a fascinating man who did so much during his short life. I really enjoy this authorβs works (Dan Jones) and his ability to write both the history and the modern take on figures from centuries ago. Time for some beach reads!
New blog post! Check it out, and if youβre so inclined, please share. :)

Hereβs an intriguing idea!
Yes!!
Yeah! Sage & Scribe is one of my favorites! Works great with teens, too. :)
Leave your future self a sticky note. What do you want to make sure you remember to do when the new school year starts?
Whatβs that idea for next year youβve been meaning to write down? Share it here, and weβll help remind you in a few months. ππ€

βOne of my favorite things to ask kids is βAre you stuck? Or are you thinking?β I do this because it gives them agency in whether or not I support them. Sometimes, kids just need extra time to thinkβand if we intervene too soon, we diminish their agency.β βPaul Emerich France, Educator
Have you tried asking this before? π¬

My students give me feedback when I give out report cards. I ask 3 questions: What is one thing we do in class that helps you learn? What is one that is getting in the way of learning? What should we add to improve learning? β Laurie Walsh, Teacher
Have you ever tried this strategy? How did it go?

Love this idea for secondary students as well.
βOur team recently decided to spend the first ten minutes of meetings sending positive emails home. 10/10 recommend. Itβs always on my list, but I donβt get around to it as much as Iβd like. Building it into our structured team time was a great solution and means so much to the students.β βEmma Pass, Teacher
Whatβs something *you* 10/10 recommend to other teachers? π€ π―
