We had a great time at Pickles Pub right across the street from Camden.
For seafood, LP Steamers was also fantastic.

Oh my...horrifying.
The people of Minneapolis are showing breathtaking courage. Facing down armed federal goons to protect their neighbors isn't just brave; itβs legendary.
THIS IS THE THING: Trump is gonna surge thousands more Republican goons into the state, with the new orders that protesters can be arrested for "incitement" or "fighting words" - they'll radically expand their new gulag and fill it with Minneapolis protestors
I really want ppl w/o Minneapolis connections to understand
You might've heard that Mpls public schools went hybrid bc so many families are in hiding. Well, a coworker just told me that today, during his kid's hybrid class, a kid's apt building was raided onscreen

Don't just abolish ICE. Unmask and arrest every agent.
A big reason we have strong immigrant communities, especially in the Twin Cities, is because they were welcomed. Because people knew it makes our society better.
I mean, it sure ainβt the weather.
Itβs not just our neighbors being attacked, itβs our way of life. Our ethos.
Any thoughts on when (or if?) we get an Eaux Claires lineup?
Can we have a different President now?
4) The Gallup polling on socialism among Democrats adds nothing to understanding Ann Kimβs situation and instead drags the story into a culture-war frame, painting it as βliberals cancel everythingβ rather than acknowledging Kim was being held accountable for her actions by her own patrons.
3) On top of that, quoting only a single staff member from Kim's, a 54-year-old bartender who essentially blames "kids these days," without getting the perspectives of other staff (including those being blamed), feels like a flimsy and unrepresentative way to make any case.
2) To quote Kim Bartmann and only say she "became a polarizing figure over labor issues" without mentioning that she had to settle a wage and tip theft lawsuit with her staff for almost a quarter of a million dollars is a WILD CHOICE.

There are so many issues with this article that it's hard to pick where to start.
1) Closing two restaurants (one due to a labor dispute and one due to a rent dispute) are not being cancelled. Those are things restaurants deal with all the time.

That should tell you everything you need to know about the bloodbath that just happened.
Love this. That looks fantastic.
We are a disgraceful nation. We will be remembered for these vile actions. Our government has the blood of our queer and trans neighbors on its hands.
Call your reps now. This bill was passed by the House this morning. The Senate needs to know this cannot pass.

Trans individuals, I promise you, you are loved, you are valued, you are important, you matter, and you deserve to be your true self. I am so sorry that this country doesn't reflect that.
The Beths are one of the most consistently great bands, and this new single is proof of that fact: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrVE...
They'll be at the Palace 11/22 and I'm already looking forward to it.
We've all seen Chernobyl, right?
It is maddening what this administration is doing to our trans and immigrant neighbors. To my elected officials -- @mccollum.house.gov @smith.senate.gov @amyklobuchar.com -- what are you doing to actively stop this?

I'm really sorry if you missed Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted this weekend as part of #SoundUnseen25.
