Yoooo wtf is a Doritos chalupa, is that a real thing?

Time to hit up the starter packs again lol
The Atlanta Falcons
I don’t know much of anything about football that I didn’t learn from @jonbois.bsky.social and that video series is AMAZING
Starter packs are one of the significant technological advantages this platform has over the others and it REALLY supercharges the onboarding process.
I used bsky for a while before trying one. Don’t be like me. Try a few of them out & your homepage / feed / fyp will improve dramatically.
Then I tried Arch, & felt like I’d wasted a lot of effort. Arch was even better for learning how things worked together.
Then I installed Peppermint. I’m pretty sure that’s what’s still on it.
I just didn’t want to invest the time to get Arch running well after spending all that time with Gentoo.
I remember doing this with a netbook that I’d been able to mod a lot of the hardware on. I switched out the WiFi card with a better one, replaced the HDD with a solid state, then put Gentoo on it. This project took me… at least a year? And it never worked great. But it DID work. Which felt amazing.
Are libraries the greatest thing humans have created? It’s worth thinking about. One could even measure societies against one another based on the quality of their libraries. Some libraries are even expanding into lending things like tools & kitchen equipment.
Every time I see a post like this on my timeline, it brightens my day a little bit. We can meet up with our friends and support each other here. The people are the community, not a place or platform.
We’ll set an example in this little corner of the internet.
This appears to be the season of endings, the time for letting go and leaving things behind. But that is also a process of moving forward.
