“We have made many mistakes. I’m trying to fix them.”
“It may be that, before this ends, you will have your chance to atone. To save us all, or try.”
“Is that a prophecy?”
“More of a wager.”

Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about finding an abandoned mausoleum with a paranormal atmosphere and summoning apparitions from the shadowy netherworld to do your bidding.
What a summary. I may need to quote this on the site.

Really love this delve into Caleb's character, thank you Rob! I've been v open about my general dislike of 2SR and now characters are portrayed there, so it's wonderful to get such a thoughtful analysis of elements I personally haven't appreciated before.
Thank you so much for this!!!
If you'd be interested in turning this thread into an essay, I would love to share it on the site and get more eyes on it

I always recommend a reread if you can find time! And it's fun to mix up the order, definitely try chronological if you haven't yet
Knife sharpener!!
Well, one of them. Family trade, but I was always disappointed we didn't have ice cream or sweets like other Italians in Scotland.
Now I want to learn to sharpen blades but I am also terrified of power tools, so.
kill the imposter syndrome in you head because not only is there someone out there doing it worse than you, they're also using chat gpt to do it
Anyways.
Sounds inCREDible
Will be backing asap on payday
Well this is extremely My Thing
“War,” she said. “It sounds so normal, doesn’t it? So pretty.” That last word blighted the air as it left her throat. “A few bodies impaled on a few swords, some bright young boys skewered by arrows, and done. What we did, what was done to us, was not war.”
THREE PARTS DEAD
Hello fic writers and fan artists. Please join the Craft Sequence fandom and give us this.
why is the actual financial market replaying the end bit of @maxgladstone.bsky.social's DEAD HAND RULE, except without the vague hope of Kai Pohala/Tara Abernathy/Elayne Kevarian figuring out how to stop the vampiric draw orchestrated by forever-growth monstrosities
(btw, read Max's books)
True true true. Wonder what Camlaan would be like for folks who aren't royalty or knights... How likely am I to be abducted by the fae?
For me, obviously Craft Sequence. Not sure the Domain and I would get on...but my best friend says Tara Abernathy reminds her of me, so maybe I would smash it??
QRP with your skull art!!
Y’all, please nominate—it’s so very helpful to everyone: the authors, the jury, the foundation, and to readers

I love love LOVE Raymet. Agree that if we saw more of her she might be my favourite.
Ruin of Angels got to Raymet & Gal’s big moment on the drive this morning. The first time through, I absolutely saw it coming and absolutely loved it.
The second time through, with full knowledge rather than supposition, I think I loved it even more.
First two chapters of DEAD HAND RULE have me feeling like I’m front row for the most epic ass opening to a big movie. The King in Red’s presence on the page never disappoints.
“Elayne,” he said. “Such a pleasure to see you again.”
She stood over Tara, her hair white as a flame. The glyph pinstripes of her suit flexed and danced, and starlight crackled between her long thin fingers. She looked on him as she would a split worm in a spadeful of dirt

Kopil being so confused by everything about Abelard is EVERYTHING in this book. The duo I didn't know I needed.
I knew which scene this would be before I checked. Incredible writing. I think I held my breath for most of my first read.
