Only found one thing this round of #SOSWeekend but it's a super cool mon I'd been wanting to go for. I love that some fully evolved mons are just SOS chainable in these games, it's so cool! ^^

Under the weather unfortunately so idk if there'll be new SOS Weekend art, but consider this the announcement for now.
SOS Weekend 2025: Winter Edition will be next week, from December 26th at 12 am local time to the 29th at 12 am local time. Use #SOSWeekend to share your targets and finds!

Ending out #SOSWeekend with an overtime find: Chinchou, who went double over odds (because of course it did ^^;). Hopefully the December event treats me kinder but it was still fun, and I'm glad so many other folks were enjoying their SOS hunts ^^

I got exactly *one* reply with input on when SOS Weekend should be (I appreciate the reshares though!) so the event will be September 5th-8th. Proper announcement post (with the artwork!) will be up shortly ^^

Thanks for the input! Part of me didn't wanna hold the summer part so close to the December part, but next year will be spaced out better, rest assured!

Hi hi Bluesky! I'm posting, so it must be #SOSWeekend related! It's gonna be twice a year now, at the end of December and also in the summer! (hopefully in June or July next year). I like it as an end-of-the-month thing but since the last weekend of August is part of Fossil Week this year, (1/2)

And where would we be without a massive shoutout to my wonderful co-host, @squinkmaster.bsky.social for being the biggest cheerleader and supporting me the whole way. Insanely grateful and I cannot thank you enough >w<

My final shiny of the first ever #SOSWeekend was this beautiful Trumbeak. Was hoping for another Goomy but there's always next year to properly bring Luma home. Welcome aboard, Confetti!

Hahaha same! Maybe scared my parents with my shouting- I was so not ready for it to shine so quick!

I can think of no one more deserving of a shiny at the buzzer than my incredible friend and co-host. Thank you for being along for the ride with me!

My true target and the mascot of #SOSWeekend has been found! Switched to Lush Jungle (ty @squinkmaster.bsky.social) and got this in 27 encounters!!! Welcome home, Lumo!
(I do still plan on hunting a female one since our mascot, Luma, is a girl Goomy ^^)

Also after all this I am officially the number one spreader of shiny Fearow propaganda- I think (mostly intentionally) failing it a bunch in pursuit of another shiny made me appreciate it more ^^;

Been chaining for Goomy on and off for a while, finding (and failing) 3 Fearow in the process. Wanted Goomy for #SOSWeekend and found Fearow in 68 encounters! Kept her to chain with and a few hours later she stopped calling for a bit, so I took it as a sign that she wanted to join me. Welcome Una!

My first run for SOS Weekend ended with my Torracat using Struggle and KO'ing the Fearow I was chaining for Goomy, so we'll continue this at a more reasonable hour. It's been a fun (and slightly rocky ^^;) start to #SOSWeekend ^^

The first shiny of #SOSWeekend! Kirby the Alolan Vulpix! I found this while in call with the amazing wonderful host of this event @pikapowerkirby.bsky.social, whom I named it after! Next I'll be hunting Grubbin on Blush Mountain during the day for a chance at a shiny VIKAVOLT!
