2) I am close to a mini milestone on my newsletter, so I'll make that my focus for this week's promo.

I'm a plantser or gardener. I start out with a bunch of core seeds then as I write I tend to thin out ideas that aren't going anywhere to allow ones that are blossoming to thrive.
It really depends where the story's at in development and how it's progressing.

I think it's important to realize what you DON'T want out of a platform and curating your experience to keep that stuff out while nurturing the stuff you want to see more off.
The quality of the people and posts, for the most part, are better than even pre-Elon Xitter (low bar though.)
I just realized I'm coming up on a year since I joined BlueSky, a little reluctantly, as I had been off Twitter since 2022 and wasn't sure if I wanted to dive back into a social media platform that was like it.
I don't regret the decision, and it's been an interesting learning curve adapting.
