This is so true. I’ll be down on myself, feeling hopeless, and someone will share a picture of something they made from my cookbook and tell me they liked it, and I remember that I made something good and useful.

Definitely Mistborn. It’s a great trilogy and Stormlight eventually references lore from those books. Also I think they are making the Mistborn series on Apple TV first.
Be sure to grab a copy of this excellent anti-fascist collection! A lot of rage, a lot of catharsis in this book.

Agreed. Also, as a former university adjunct, most of us get zero instruction on how to teach. Whereas teachers with an education degree are taught pedagogy. 🤷 I’m sure your critiques are valid. It must be really frustrating seeing ways the class could be improved.

Agreed. I really enjoyed Way of Kings, but I think the latest Stormlight books suffer from a lack of Moshe’s editorial input. (I believe he retired after Oathbringer.)
