Same with game pirates. People who have confessed to having illegitimate copies of the game are not listed at the Forums. A) because these are EA official forums and not a place to promote pirates. B) because I don't trust mods made on pirated games.
I *am* considering telling you when the current version of mods by people who rehost other people CC or plagiarize other people's mods are broken (and probably have some on the "Previously Broken" list). But I'm not going to promote their updates.
Also, if you use mods by people who do this, you're on your own for learning if those mods are broken or updated. None of us who do this work of tracking mods FOR you so you don't have to bother are going to support these people and their behaviour.
Gotta love Simmers who say to not upload their build/Sim but they're perfectly happy to include other people's CC in their download.
Or not.

It's permanent insofar as if it's no longer being sold in the Marketplace, it doesn't get removed from your game. But it should be covered by the same mechanism for toggling on and off as packs/kits are.

Malicious files were briefly available on Mod the Sims today. I check all MTS script updates. The creator was able to regain control of his account & replace files.

I avoid TSR - it's so awkward. I found most of my fave CC on Tumblr, and a lot of that is links to people's Patreon pages for the downloads.
Psst: I track known broken CC on the EA Forums! And I have advice on what to NOT download (like folders of lots of people's CC) on the Forums too.
This is a legit method to add the missing premade pets back into premade households in a new save *without* losing any of the improved relationships etc that have changed for those Sims. Be sure to pay attention to the parts about not *overwriting* the household and about *which* Sims to delete.

Lot 51 has updated Core Library to v.1.39. This will solve custom careers blocking the Sim Picker (for travel etc.) with the Royalty EP without needing those careers to be updated.

Made a small String Override Mod to swap any instance of 'Dynasty' to 'Legacy' since I'm more of a Legacy Player than a Dynasty Player.
