The reason mutual aid is not charity is that when you do it, you are not positioning yourself as a benefactor of higher social status. The mutuality is that you recognize people you help are just like you & you know you're part of a whole & the survival of each one benefits the whole.

I'm an ancient sk8 punk so I still buy from Volcom, Billabong, Rip Curl, etc. A lot is geared towards young folks going to festivals but there is some good alt and scene inspired stuff.
these days I shop by just searching brands I like on ebay. There are bunches of higher quality pieces from before everything became enshittified. Otherwise nordstrom is a good place to look (can always buy elsewhere)
