Scott Smith’s was probably my favorite. There’s also a ghost story about a hotel on a river that’s really freaky and the final ghost story about the chimney sweep is great.

Just finished Hark. Some solid stories in there!

I like these all but I’d argue H20 is one of the best (and most entertaining) sequels!

Dat Slice House tho.

Wow THE MONKEY is a blast. Easily my favorite thing Osgood Perkins has done. So incredibly funny, quirky and insane. And a blast of a screening. Also some touching tributes to the city of LA and David Lynch before the movie by Osgood and @beyondfest.bsky.social. Great night at the movies.

RIP to David Lynch, one of the best to ever do it. Cannot think of a more inspirational artist to me at this time. TWIN PEAKS helped get me through a minor depression and is the thing that I bonded with my fiancée over when we first met. Grateful we got the work we did from him.

I always wondered why his wife was so emotional / relieved to see Del and it’s apparently from a subplot cut where she thinks Neal is actually having an affair with someone the whole time and Del is a made up excuse. The moment still works without knowing that but kind of wild!

Rewatched one of my favorite July 4th movies tonight and I always find it funny how most of the movie operates as a whodunnit before the killer is revealed to be someone we literally haven’t seen on camera before the third act.

I’ve barely posted anything on Twitter since 2021 but I’m going to try and make more of an effort here!
