Just in: a judge has denied his request for a retrial. He’s scheduled to be sentenced sometime this spring.

The suspect’s mother says too many pieces of evidence were excluded from the trial, and while detectives say the case remains open, prosecutors are confident they got the right man.

OSHA inspecting Washington Bridge demolition A spokesperson would not discuss specifics but said the purpose of the inspection is to determine if there were any violations of OSHA workplace safety standards.

A spokesperson for OSHA tells 12 News the agency is inspecting J.R. Vinagro, a subcontractor hired by Aetna Bridge Company to demolish the Washington Bridge.
