This makes a lot of sense as to why lyath and tuffnut feel so different from RKO and Pleiades. Both of them are top down designs. I feel like we can kind of all agree the intellect experiments in super slam are very awkward.

I'm going to guarantee this is a result of their cost cutting measure of not doing "stamped" promos anymore. Since they are now using regular foil sheets they probably just messed up allocation since this was the first set to do it.
I remember when monarchs weren't a "combo" deck. While yes, they still kinda play on a different axis by being a semi lock out strategy, I miss the days of stormforth into Caius as the premier midrange strategy.
Idk, I don't know when we became a country that celebrated death. Especially on our own soil. All of it is sick. A life was lost, whether you believe that happened is right or wrong does not matter. I hope we can heal morally as a country.

It at least explains why kai'sa is so strong. If you just play the best sorcery speed cards and play towards that you'll never get got. Just very sad that it makes my Leona deck 10 trillion times worse...
Now that doesn't sound horrible, until you realize interaction decks are now held hostage by the turn player. Since your mana is use it or lose it on every action that makes a closed state (the time you can play reactions) the turn player has full control over how and when you are able to play cards
