Supported by my fellowship from the Software Sustainability Institute, this year the rainbowR committee (with the amazing @oberman.bsky.social, @ddsjoberg.bsky.social and @statsrhian.bsky.social) has been working hard to nurture rainbowR and make the community sustainable for the long-term.

It's free, but there was an application process to be accepted to their open-source program. Otherwise, you're 100% correct, it would be paid.

My favorite feature is the AI chatbot on the homepage. It does a fantastic job of answering simple and complex questions about the package. (RAG model powered by kapa.ai) 🤖
