When was the last time a politician seriously talked about removing homelessness? Removing child poverty? Removing food poverty? Removing heat poverty? On workers being paid a fair wage that doesnt rely on in-work benefits?

The tax threashold should equal the minimum wage. Going forward workers need to be paid properly not rely on in work benefits and hence will spend generating the local economy and jobs - jobs for workers who will pay tax.

Next week GMP will deploy live facial recognition in Sale town centre.

Successive Policing Ministers have pledged a legal framework for live facial recognition, but as weeks have stretched into months, we’ve seen no progress, only further expansion.

We condemn the march towards an Orwellian state

The government must ensure fair distribution of income 'The average real wage of workers has hardly moved from the 2008 level whilst bosses never had it so good.'

It is noteworthy that not all those who are working in the stores are employees and therefore not factored in. So for example, ancillary workers who are employed by an agency and almost entirely on minimum wage do not feature in the calculation

Thousands of rogue bosses have failed to pay tribunal awards - TBIJ report

Lord John Hendy KC, one of the UK’s leading employment barristers and the chair of the Institute of Employment Rights, said the findings were β€œshocking” and had β€œprofound implications” for employment law. He said it should be a β€œwake-up call” for the government.

Labour considering charging workers for employment tribunal claims, sources say Exclusive: Reintroducing tribunal fees would be β€˜a gift for bad bosses’, says TUC chief Paul Nowak

Labour lacks any original thought. In the last week we’ve seen Mandatory ID cards rehashed and now reintroducing tribunal costs – if the employment rights bill wasn’t a big enough joke it is now removing access to any benefits that the Act may bring

Verifying connection

The ERB fell short of what was needed in its original form and now it is being watered down still. ERB II is already being discussed.

We dont need ERB we need anti-union legislation abolishing and we will win for ourselves
