It's heaps of tool and silk and cotton bed sheets, it's flooded natural light, It's a deathless perspectiveless bed and in the center, wrapped in the snake-filled cling of black fishnets, is a pair of bent legs, pale slim and well muscled, coiled up as though about to move, legs suspended in white frothing nothing attached to no one.

There are so many mysteries I will never understand, but I know the sun, any other distance from the earth, would not shine on this bed.
