The @esabcc.bsky.social has published its report on 'Climate Adaptation and Mitigation in the Agri-food System'. They identify that a systemic transition is needed across the entire value chain including:
- production systems
- land use
- consumption patterns, especially diets and food waste. ⬇️

Council’s 2025 Annual Review of the electricity sector identified key recommendations to increase the resilience of the system and to boost sustainable electricity supply. This included asking planners at local and national levels to adopt a constructive approach to repowering projects.

We had a great time at StripeYSTE talking to people on their vision for 2050. Artist Hazel Hurley was on hand to illustrate people’s suggestions, and we’ll be sharing these with you over the coming days.

Naomi Picovici of St Leos College Carlow recieves her Climate Leadership and Innovation Award at the Stripe Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. The award, co-sponsored by the Climate Change Advisory Council and Met Éireann was for her project on pursuing beneficial traits of native Irish queen bees through controlled breeding in changing climates!
