You got it! Also the grey dots are public racks where people can park e-devices for free but we do not deploy there.

โ€ข $99 annual membership for new/lapsed riders (still active)
โ€ข Price freezes for existing members continuing into 2026
โ€ข 140+ new stations added
โ€ข Updated service standards to improve reliability

๐ŸšฒโšกThe longstanding electrified Divvy station at Green & Randolph in West Loop just got a big upgrade! Crews replaced older equipment with the newest generation of charging hardware to improve e-device reliability in one of the busiest parts of the system. Got to see the installation firsthand!

A map showing the increase in units allowed by right for Chicago parcels if HB 5626 passes. The map shows Chicago with parcels colored blue (1 unit increase), green (2-3 units), orange (4-5 units), and red (6-7 units). Many parcels are also uncolored, indicating no increase in the units allowed. Chicago's community area boundaries are also shown.

In the gov's State of the State speech, he championed a "missing middle" zoning reform bill that would legalize at least two units on any 2500+ sqft parcel allowing single-family homes.

By my calculation, that'd increase the by-right zoning capacity in Chicago by at least 775,000 units. Some notes:

Metro stations should be basic and beautiful, because you should never be at one long enough to truly take it in.

Riders waiting 15+ minutes for a train donโ€™t need better station amenities, they need better service.

Commentary: Public transit law is a win for Illinoisโ€™ climate future If it helps to keep more cars off the road, everyone benefits, writes a member of the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition.

"We all depend on having an effective system, whether you ride transit or not. Hereโ€™s why NITA is a big win for #ClimateAction and a healthier future for Illinois." 1/7 @elpcenter.bsky.social #twill

No they do not charge the bike's battery. But the solar panels on the side of each "pillar" powers locking/light on the docks.

Breaking down SANDAGโ€™s $125 billion spending plan The new plan retreats from some ambitious projects but aims to deliver tangible improvements in the near term.

The new #SANDAG (metropolitan planning organization #MPO for San Diego) long-range plan allocates 58% of total funding for transit, ~$5B for the region's bicycle network. www.kpbs.org/news/quality...

It'd be incredibly easy to do this in the suburbs, no AI required: the vast majority of suburban traffic signals have pre-emption devices triggered by strobes on police and fire vehicles, including ambulances. Throw an infrared strobe on the front of every Pace bus and give them the green every time

Not that I'm aware of - but age, temperature, and charge of the battery can impact the torque of the pedal assist function.

Spoke to YPT last night about Divvy & the future of micromobility in Chicago. We had nearly 7M rides last year & added 140+ stations to the network. ~200 more planned for 2026, including 80 electrified charging stations. Pricing reforms & discounts have continued into 2026, saving people real money!

Look at this progression of the public right of way. Giving a presentation later on micromobility in the public right of way. Using Washington & LaSalle outside City Hall to show how safety, trip and ridership data, and influence drive change.
