Hearing angered MPs claim Burnham would have won it misses the point. Labour needs to stop chasing the Reform vote and get the soul back into their politics
Yes this is exactly right. Most of what Iβve heard today from Labour MPs and the PM has just made me think theyβve been missing the whole point. People donβt want divisions, they donβt want racism, they donβt want politics of fear, weβre tired of it. Starmer claiming Greens are extreme is divisive
Labour MP Ian Byrne: "The lines from the PM and Cabinet today essentially labelling the Green Party as extremist is appalling, desperate and frankly embarrassing.
"It also makes very clear that the leadership has zero understanding of where it has been going wrong."
I donβt really care whether Labour or the Greens win Gorton and Denton as long as Farageβs Reform company donβt.
My sister called her GP this week about the same thing and was told sheβs βplaying the menopause cardββ¦WTF kind of card is that??? I had no idea we were so backwards about menopausal healthcare here!
π¨ βCan I tell you how many times in the last 45 years the European Court of Human Rights has ruled against the UK when it comes to deporting people from this country - only 13 times - in 45 yearsβ

Reform accepted Β£9 million from a former Boris Johnson backer & crypto-multimillionaire.
Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.
Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on politicalΒ donations.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Iβm so pleased you are doing this, I agree 100%
I no longer live in London, but itβs been imperative to me to remain connected to it for its vitality, diversity, history, culture and so much more. Please check out Josh Hommeβs love letter to London. I got goosebumps!
"Amazing result for Plaid Cymru, so here's a guest from Reform anyway..."
Nigel Farage doesnβt think the Prime Minister should have free speech in this country. But heβll tell foreigners that yours is somehow under threat from the Prime Minister. Heβs a whiny little liar. Always has been. Always will be.
Donald Trump is a problem for all of us, not just America.
Trump is leading the global attack on human rights from funding genocide, overturning abortion access and militarizing cities across the US.
We cannot be silent and we cannot be complicit.
It's just so very tiring.
But it looks like it needs to be said again and again.

A fab book too π±
The fact he now has to greet Trump on a state visit date today is just horrific. That was utterly repulsive today and the idea we lay the red carpet out for Trump now is equally so
