NGOs are facing backlash, shrinking civic space & increased competition. Here I examine how NGOs can respond by adding new legal entities; or changing funding models.

I wanted to see how many friends the President of Peace has made during his first and second term, so I made a map of countries he has threatened both economically and militarily, banned citizens from, and bombed.

Pressure grows on Germany over rigid support for Israel Pressure is building on Germany to join steps to sanction Israel over the Gaza war, sparking heated debate in a country that has long been at pains to atone for the Holocaust.

I talked to @afp.com about Germany being under increasing pressure for its Israel policy. German responsibility "could be seen as the responsibility towards international law, the international rules-based order, the promise that genocide must never happen again."

Opinion | My U.N. Commission’s Finding: Israel Is Committing Genocide The chief judge of the Rwandan genocide tribunal has concluded that Israel is guilty of the “crime of crimes” in Gaza.

“Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. This finding is based on investigations and extensive evidence,” writes Navi Pillay, the head of a U.N. commission. “It has been corroborated by multiple sources.”
