Concept of a small, cozy izakaya during the day. Bright daylight floods through the windows and a collage of shapes and color overlay the image. A small floating robot carries booze, presumably to a thirsty patron.
A grim concept of the same izakaya at night, where a massive portal has ripped away the windows revealing an otherworldly nightmare. Yokai appear from the portal and the sink.
Never heard of #followfriday, but here's my pitch. @llanier.bsky.social & I are workin' on an #indiegame where you cook Japanese bar food by day, using otherworldly ingredients you harvest from the creatures that attack your restaurant at night. Come peep the gameplay and concepts on our feeds.
A tool, a weapon - every cook needs a reliable blade.

To get a sense of direction for the environment, these style tests were created for the kitchen. The style shift between day to night should reflect the difference in tone and gameplay the player will experience.
