I think a lot of it comes down to every manager or c-suite member having a new tool and not wanting to be left behind in "the age of productivity." Everyone on LinkedIn claims to use it heavily, but then "it was only on personal apps that don't need security."
I swear it's just branding.
I didn't buy the last argument, either. We have deterministic tools for boilerplate, so if they're doing that then they missed a chance to look up how to do it correctly.
