A young Eagle flys high as it looks for food

I have never seen as many Eagles in one spot as I did today. I saw 5 or 6 I believe it was hard to say for sure. This juvenile has a very intense look as it scouts for food. They got fairly close to me. What a morning.

When the storms roll in so do the birds to our feeder. These Purple Finches may be the most beautiful "backyard" bird of all. So pretty. I saw 3 males and 4 or 5 females around the feeders. Never discount the birds you will see in your yard.

I don't often see Eastern Towhee in my yard. When the storms come in it seems they come to my feeders. I saw both the male and female but only got shots of the male.

Another great morning at Lake Betz! I saw about 20 of these beauties fly in on the lake side but this one hung out by herself on the swamp side for some reason. Such a beautiful duck.
