Thanks Ant, it's been insane convincing the Acorn Electron to even consider running this kind of game ! π

Repton 2 ?.... hang on, you said chilled :)
I'm in a Software Invasion phase at the moment so.... 3D Bomb Alley / Blitzkrieg / Vortex ?
If you give it a couple of weeks, there should be a new game on the scene !

If you've made an Atari Jaguar game or know of any devs that have made one - you may want to check out the guys eBay page because he has quite a few suspicious items www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?i...

Disgusting.
I had a look at the EBay page last night - this morning I've been offered a $25 discount on it.... great.
π
More Chuckulus testing on REAL Hardware today....
Tape version loaded into Acorn Electron (through laptop output jack) with this cool site utility: π
playuef.8bitkick.cc?LOCAL=true
Loading time - 3 minutes 40 seconds !
WTF ? π
Over where ? What ? π€· π
π€£ π
Yay, great to see you back π
Crazy film - I need to watch again.... That final scene of the knackered Earth gets me !
Finished the 'to do' list....
Now concentrating on a few 'I'm not happy with....' issues.
Like the way the geese/hens attempt to flip direction to give the appearance they're walking around the back of the silo.... WIP, but trying another sprite set (which I'm much happier with at the moment) !
Yes, 3 days of dry weather here - tried to do some gardening earlier, but it's still a quagmire !
Anyway, cheers ! π»
Yes, I think there's a lot of that going on at the moment (me too)!
Struggling to think what day it is......
It's wine o'clock, so must be midweek Wednesday !
Minor update to Electroniq (online Acorn Electron emulator) 0xc0de6502.github.io/electroniq/
* More GPU friendly (at least my laptop no longer sounds like it is ready to take off!)
* Fixed misalignment when scaling browser window
* Added "export RAM" option
Just the mouse pointer after resizing the window, everything else has been fine ! π
Excellent stuff !
I thought that window misalignment was just my ageing laptop/browser ! π
Shall have a look later - that RAM export sounds useful ! π
Wow, I can imagine that must have been quite an explosion !
I was looking at the connectors on the drive section earlier, and thought - they 'should' be ok, but that saucer is gonna be heavy ! π²
I'll take extra care while doing the saucer section ! π²
Just finished the 'drive' section, no chaos yet, even the instructions are making sense !
No audio required, I can hear it ! π±
Snapped from a (Commodore) Amiga Format CD from 1996: A Babylon 5 Starfury animation created in Lightwave3D.
It's all very strange....
Haven't seen that one before ! I was only 11 when Return of the Jedi came out, but I thought I was aware of all the toys back then ! π€·
Speeder Bike and Ewok Glider....
That's it for the smaller stuff. There's a Snowspeeder, X-Wing, AT-AT Walker and Millennium Falcon in Mum's Atic still, plus some more figures, which I may well investigate/rescue next time !
These crazy things.....
CAP-2, INT-4, ISP-6
Pretty sure they weren't in the movies (?), so they're all a bit odd....
So that's all the guns and stuff assigned to the correct figures !
The Emperor was wearing Luke's cloak for some reason....
Squid Head had Luke's gun....
....there was some other nonsense going on.... can't remember !
Now, what else we got here.....?
Wow, glad you're home safe at least, and not stuck over there around all the chaos !
Many thanks :) I'll have a sort out tomorrow and bear you in mind ! Got some figures missing, I think they're in the Falcon which I'll check next time !
Its getting there !
A page from that book helped, as I'm missing Luke's cloak, plus it identifies which blaster he should have ! π
