I’ve found that doing just a vectorDB with no LLM. That encoded/embeds/vectorizes pdf text into a vector database AND using a prompt that is encoded/embeded/vectoriised against that as a query produces a good list of PDF extracts pertinent to my query and then I can refer to the PDFs themselves.
