On the upside is that the majority will keep contracting, despite admitting it's harder now. A vast majority would choose contracting over permanent employment if take home pay was the same - a string indicator that contracting is a lifestyle and not driven by monetary incentives.
People are receiving much less inbound work requests, 60% had at least _some_ unplanned downtime over the last 12 months, only 25% have increased their daily rates (despite high inflation)
