Better Man so far is my movie of the year. Loved that one.

Lavender fields lines curving along the hills, with some plants growing in the middle of it, captured as an intimate image. Tones are red/purple (lavender) and yellow/green (plants). A reminder that no matter how much we try to control & organize, nature will always bring a bit of its own disorder… That’s often where beauty can be found imo.

This was one of the best and most exhilarating days I have spent in Death Valley National Park. It is the only time I have seen so much sand swirling around Tucki Mountain and it created a fresh composition option after photographing here so many times.

A Better Man stands out as my top movie pick for the month. The CGI was incredible, and it didn’t take you out of the film. Its has elaborate and creative choreography, and I personally resonated with the ending.

Sidenote, the history of catchas is pretty interesting. You actually have to pronounce it as “CATCHAS”, because it’s an acronym for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart” but much like laser it’s so common that it’s apart of common speech.
