Oh and the text used for the middle 2 sheets is the beginning of the printer manual that I used to figure out the communication protocol

Example:

Once I've printed 1000000 black pixels (I'll count), I'll stop printing. If art is 50% black, that should be after ~3478 horizontal lines. I could for example print 5 575x695 works.

My printer is made for receipts, not for art, so it was the perfect medium for #genuary7 : use software that is not intended to create art .

I sent characters and used the few available modification parameters to adjust them.

I opened #Blender and geometry nodes for #genuary5 . I realised quickly that if I want to use that to a level that satisfies me, I have a looot to learn. But will not have time for that any soon 😴

I created an ink blob function, and then ran the same piece of paper multiple times through the printer. The auto cutter made it shorter each time!

This is a Fairino? Is it any good? I would love to get a cobot for an art project, and this seems relatively affordable... I wonder what's different about it than a UR3e which is 5 times more expensive...!
