It's been . . . disturbing. I've been trying to think how to describe them. Best one I've heard is someone calling them BlueAnons.

So tell me how you're going to rank your ballot, Ms Liz BlueAnon, when you vote in the Maine primary?
She looks almost like a human being. Never seen her so relaxed and happy.
I've found several factual inaccuracies too. I'm not going to comment on them--will wait for the pros to do it. The good thing is it collects all the BlueAnon conspiracy theories in one place so it's an opportunity to debunk them all in one fell swoop.
lol. Another BlueAnon heard from. Mills has no chance in hell of defeating Collins. Emily's list has become a joke.
While kinetic strikes on Iran are making the news this week, the cyber community has been closely watching other events. Iran has a pretty solid cyber capability that cannot be ignored. While hostilities never really cease in cyber, its important to recognize how war accelerates those hostilities.
The whole point of my comment was that he is not equating Dems with Rs.
Whatever your opinions are, they are irrelevant if you cannot vote in Maine. We choose our representatives, not people from away. I'm not telling you how to vote in your state. Don't tell me how to vote in mine.
His resonance with Mainers comes from his focus on how a small group of powerful people dictate policy that governs how we live, and is oblivious to the suffering it causes. Which you are interpreting as being divisive and focusing on Democrats rather than Republicans.
That's ridiculous. You cannot tell me that Platner is not criticizing Republicans *enough* and that any criticism of Democrats somehow mutes or cancels out his criticism of Republicans.
And its main premise is incorrect. Platner's sleeve was grandfathered as long as he stayed in the Marines. But he left. It stopped being grandfathered when he left.
Yawn.
A little humility on your part would not go amiss. Put your money where you choose. If you choose not to support Sue Collins opponent, it's up to you. But you do not get to dictate who Maine elects because you think you know better than us scruffy working class Maine plebes.
independents; for ex. Angus King. Platner could have easily chosen to run as an independent; he didn't. He chose to stay in the party. If you think the way the national party is being run is just hunky dory and doesn't need change, you are very out of touch.
That's not even close to what's going on in Maine Dem party. You really don't know what you're talking about, but that's not slowing you down at all, is it? I don't know who's vowing to take over or coming in from the outside, vote my way or I leave. Maine has a strong history of electing
DSCC shoved Sara Gideon down our throat in 2020; over Maine Dem party's objections; we knew she was a weak candidate; that's how Collins won last time.
We don't trust them to pick our candidate now. He's only voicing what we Maine Dems already know; oddly he's the only candidate brave enough.

With a predictable result. A lot of Maine Dems have had it w/ being told how to run our state by outsiders. When he criticizes the Dem party, it taps into what we already believe. He says how most all of us feel. He's not being some radical; this is mainstream. Most candidates are scared to say it.
"there are a lot of people who are telling Mainers" lol, lol, lol.
You make my point for me. We're not listening to clueless PFAs any more.
That's what lost us the last election, when DSCC forced Gideon down the Maine Dem party's throat despite our objections. 1/2
Very witty. Don't vote for him. How are YOU ranking Your Maine primary ballot?
The report is heavy on surmise & innuendo; light on documentation & fact checking. It's telling that it got its main premise wrong. The sleeve was grandfathered as long as Platner was still in the Marines; however, he had left, so it no longer was grandfathered.
Nobody is taking a win for granted. We're all working hard to get him elected.
Neither is he; what's your point?
How will you rank your Maine primary ballot when you vote in the Maine election?
in the world, of course, a candidate can still lose. That's what happened in Gideon vs Collins last time. 4. No one supporting Platner is taking the race for granted, despite his leads over both Mills and Collins.
1. They're not janky polls; UNH & PanAtlantic are the gold standard polls in the region. 2. One poll, however good, means nothing. The definite trend for him is upward. 3. At first they only showed he was a viable candidate; latest show he's the candidate to beat. 3. With the best poll showing 1/2
not even collected necessary signatures to run 2 weeks from deadline. (Platner collected all his in 2 days at the start of the period January 1) She is not considered a serious candidate.
I'm ranking my ballot Platner, Costello, Mills, LaFlamme
