I just finished "Crooks," the new novel by author extraordinaire @louberney.bsky.social, and once again he hit it out of the ballpark. It was completely un-put-downable, and I read it in 5 days. Whoo boy, I can't wait for his next one.

Here in AZ, when a siren goes by, the coyotes out in the wash start howling and their chorus is soon joined by every dog within a mile. They apparently consider themselves one big pack.
It's also an impeachable offense. Do it.
Looks great! I particularly like that gray and white "mystery plant." π
That's a darling pic of HRH. Thanks for sharing.β€οΈ
All is well here, just pretty busy.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours! Give that sweet kitty a head scratch for me. π»
I'm convinced that @DBacks pitchers are cursed.
Remember when asked about kids separated from their parents at the southern border, her reply was, "Fuk the children." The Epstein victims were CHILDREN.
We DBacks fans truly enjoyed watching the Freight Train play for us. He always brought an intensity and love for the game. We wish him well.
Now do Surprise, Arizona.
Just getting through the day without getting pissed off at anyone. It's an ongoing challenge. π
My day started with greeting & petting a sweet, friendly Golden Retriever who lives nearby. Next came my visit to 2 kitties I'm cat-sitting. One likes me, rubs against my legs purring. The other finally decided that I post no danger and in fact serve food.
Doesn't get any better than this.π»
I'm so proud of the citizens of Surprise.
They lived through that, but the very notion of a black FEMALE President sent them over the edge.
When I lived in HI, traffic on surface streets was unbearably heavy during rush hour. It was common practice to let someone enter the lane in front of you when vehicles were backed up. In return, it was expected that they'd give a "thank you" wave. Failing to do so was considered extremely rude.

More evidence that whoever selects her outfits is punking her, and having a private guffaw.
No doubt she's a visitor from Minnesota or somewhere else currently buried under the snow. Temperature is relative, after all.
I saw another roadrunner near my home yesterday afternoon, and he was a big one. Easily 18 inches from bill to tail, and so beautiful.
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. Itβs dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
Stay free
Noem and Miller share a well-publicized bloodlust for anyone who doesn't kiss the ring. Lewandowski makes a ham-handed effort to join their little club and please his mistress, and Bovino plays desperate catch-up. These people don't have souls.
Here in AZ, coyote howling during the wee hours is commonplace. I love to hear it, even if it keeps me awake.
"It wasn't me!!!" πππ€£
The curled feetsies! π»β€οΈπΊ
New Orleans has Baltimore vibes. And vice versa.
Thanks for the info!
I'm on the waiting list at the library for that one. There are 55 requests ahead of me, so it will be a while.
That film was definitely "can't-look-away," but I was disappointed that the ending didn't give us closure of any kind.
Nice!
Wow!
