One of the little things I enjoy about the smashers app is that after a tournament finishes the entrants number it will show will subtract dq’s from the total bracket. Let’s you quickly see things like “damn 80 people dq’d from the last xanadu, that was 20% of the entire bracket”

For all the gsp > pgr folks, we need to start a dialogue about how gsp deflation in the western us elite smash reigon. As someone who has played in multiple elite reigons, the talent level is fairly comparable but there simply isn’t that many tier 24+ players out here.

3. Not to be too cynical about it but the common through line for the most successful progressive reforms of the 21st century (gay marriage, decriminalizing marajuana, and now arguably abortion) is that these are all issues that directly impact those whom are white and affluent.
2. It’s not enough for a progressive cause to be morally right to get support. Messaging matters and does change minds. Abortion rights won big victories in many red states but CA couldn’t even strike down rent control bans, abolish slavery, or raise thier minimum wage.
One takeaway from tonight I haven’t seen many people talk about, ranked choice and primary reforms got roundly voted down in both red and blue states. If you’re going to complain about both major parties being poor reflections of your politics you gotta do more to energize these types of reforms.
Also important to not overstate single issue polling data versus what politicians and referendums people actually vote for. It’s very easy to see the former as a closer reflection of reality when that is very rarely the case.
Swallowing the pill of acknowledgement of minority opinion, even one that is morally correct is a prerequisite to strategising and acting towards changing hearts and minds and leveraging the power your views do have. If people get stuck believing in the silent majority it dilutes that leverage.
Not swallowing them is so much more dangerous though than swallowing that fact. Beliving without evidence that a given viewpoint is the majority view and the fact that it isn’t being acted on is evidence of a conspiracy against you is incredibly common and wholeheartedly unproductive.

Falco’s hitbox is significantly higher up than fox’s. Does not work at all with falco.
Misinputted a fox side b onstage in a match today and learned that illusion can hit ledge hang. Went through and tested it and it works consistently on a good chunk of the cast. With this you can hit someone waiting on ledge without invincibility from the edge of the pokeball.
