Digital Drawing. A depiction of an upland moa (Megalapteryx didinus) based on the type specimen. The head and right foot are represented as mummified remains while the rest of the body is drawn more like a life appearance, in the style of a monochromatic sketch.

I'd personally place it about at the ornithomimidae and maniraptora split.
Those animals all probably had feathers and more specifically wings, I feel like feathery wings would be a big indicator to make people think "yeah thats bird":)

A traditional illustration of a Litargosuchus and a young Heterodontosaurus.

The Heterodontosaurus is covered in a coat of basal, thin, downy feathers with only the tip of it's snout, limbs, and tail exposed.

The Litargosuchus is covered in scutes and scales, which were such an absolute pain in the ass to detail (but worth it). It has a little bit of speculative soft tissue at the tip of it's snout, giving it a little protruding nose, presumably this makes extra room in the animals nasal chamber for more scent particles.

Litargosuchus was a sphenosuchian crocodylomorph, it had long slender legs like every other member of the (most likely) paraphyletic group sphenosuchia. It was small even compared to the cat or small dog sized average sphenosuchian at only about 21 in (53 centimeters).

Heterodontosaurus was an ornithischian dinosaur, it had a relatively generic basal ornithischian bodyplan aside from grasping hands and extremely odd dentition with two pairs of shorter tusks in the front of it's upper jaw and one longer tusk protruding from the lower jaw, and grinding high crowned molars covered by cheeks. The Heterodontosaurus here is very young and because of that it has a short face and underdeveloped tusks, a skull of a juvenile Heterodontosaurus was described in 2008 and it displayed these features.

A Litargosuchus leptorhynchus is closing in on a young Heterodontosaurus tucki, the ornithischian calls out to its nearby parent, who won't be able to make it in time to intersept the crocodilian's meal.
