Had a Creme Egg tonight. How have they completely trashed both of their key Easter products?

Perpetual innovator. Used to be in HE, now in R&D - skepticism does not imply pessimism - all views my own and not my employer π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ << this flag means tolerance and acceptance of others, nothing else.

β¦βI guess you wereβ¦ LOST IN MUSICβ¦β and I intonated hoping he would reply βcaught in a trap - no going back!β But no, didnβt even thank me.
A chap next to me on the tube was playing βguess the lyricsβ to old 70s and 80s songs with his son. They missed their stop and asked me if weβd gone past it. I replied βyeah, it was the last stopβ¦β

My optician suggested I look at these recently. I literally went βHAAA not a chance. Awful things, should be bannedβ right there in the shop.
I did hear a clip of the U.K. entry today. It would get minus points from me if it were possible.
Iβm not participating in Eurovision things this year for the first time in perhaps 24 years. I feel the leadership has gotten things so badly wrong over the last few years, especially with the format, promotion of entrants & rules around multiple voting.
@edinburghminute.com I know you (thankfully!) switched a while ago. Have you had similar issues to Tom?
I can almost hear the degauss noise.
Make any comment about the evil of AI on the internet and you inevitably get these people saying, "Ah, but you can't halt progress." You know what else people thought was progress not long after it was invented? Asbestos.
Bakewell Pudding is better than Bakewell Tart, in addition.

As the world burns, the ants will grow increasingly stronger and become the dominant species. I for one bow down to our ant overlords. www.newscientist.com/article/2517...
Jus' sayin - the AI tools being used in this 'War' are the same ones that tried to give me simultaneous food poisoning and burnt down house when I wanted to see if it could replace a human for planning the cooking times for Christmas dinner (see start of sentence, it could not)
I will be responding with my lived experience on the social media ban public consultation. I encourage you to respond with your lived experience too. I am expecting my lived experience will be disregarded by a government who have clearly already made up their minds.
Follies are the best.
Pop up roof mounted kennels to keep the dugs dry

Oh donβt get me started on the dry robe people. Itβs probably a venn circle. I donβt get where that trend came from? Theyβre neither cheap, nor good for general winter weather
I see so many people driving around with tent boxes permanently attached to their roof racks. I bet the same people go βwhy am I constantly at the petrol stationβ
Careful, you'll get eggbound.
So, Farridge wants to ban non-UK born Brits from voting. I assume they'll then not be paying tax. Because 'no taxation without representation' cost us about Β£1000tn last time.
Where is the worst place in Edinburgh and why is it South Bridge?
I thought CΓ½ber Truks were illegal here?
Not to be alarmist or anything, but all the escalators in Edinburgh Waverley are operating. Is this the end of days? IS THAT A LOCUST?!
The Spotify AI is, as anticipated, utterly useless. It allows you to ask questions about your listening. I asked it to tell me what albums I loved in 2012. It proceeded to list albums released in 2014, 2015 and beyond.
My 3 was ironic.
Denmark has *far* worse outcomes - economic, social and integration - than the UK.
Just a fantasyland for those who want an excuse for their own xenophobia and/or are incapable of doing the hard work of confronting the UK's real problems.

I keep thinking back to the image of that FIFA Peace Prize and how cursed it looked.
It's an hour later, I've washed everything these things touched. The entire house smells of garlic still.
