Amazing job on all fronts, I'm saddened with my absence but it quickly subsides with all the stories and experiences flooding in from friends and coworkers alike in and outside of the VRD circle. I am proud of every single one of you who attended, staffed, hung out, and or passed by.
No words can describe how I feel about the event this year, Phenomenal from start to finish. Even If I wasn't there to experience it first hand, there were many waves of excitement that bursted from friends and coworkers alike inside and outside of that circle.
Hats off to all of you for everything!

At the end of it all, I just want more information on how and why. Maybe I'm not mature enough to comprehend it all or maybe it's too cryptic for me to understand but it shouldn't be hidden. The island's already far from many things as it is.
The entire notion and movement towards establishing a stronger military presence over in the Marianas doesn't really sit well with me and the events that came forward have made my fellow Chamorro brothers and sisters seek solitude elsewhere. My only question is . . . where can I take a stand?
There was a post made on my island's local News network about a protesting group, it really got me interested in the views this small island holds for those in the mainland USA and what they really meant by "Promoting peace through strength". No positives come to my mind but why is it quiet?
How dare you temp me with these damned features?! You guys raised the roof 4 quarters of an inch higher than usual.
Asides from that, I'm just excited to see all the inspiring and / or meme-filled content that'll come about.
What a month, this would now be my 7th time helping manage a music festival. The difficult part is constantly being in a new department every time.
The redeeming aspect is constantly meeting with international artists and playing difficult pieces.
Oh, what a time to be alive.
The days grow long, and the nights are ever so filled with thoughts. I've traversed for eons and have endured complexities so personally trivial and testing. However, never have I ever encountered such a smug comment in my existence.
I will remember this.
From the loud days, social events, and busy nights. There's always been music to fit the mood.
These two moments reminded me of "Jupiter Hymn from The Planets" by Gustav Holst.
Such a grand emotion to be had looking back at your work or just contemplating under the night sky.
The journey has been very exciting thus far, and it's not even close to ending. Thank you to everyone for joining me on this story, and I hope to see you all the next time I'll see you.
A true test of musicianship.
Having a long improv session with 5 other incredibly talented musicians was not on my bingo list for this year. It was incredibly insightful to know where I lacked and where I excelled.
There's always something new to learn.
It's been a while since I've just sat down and enjoyed company. Never a dull day about but it's nice to have nothing to do in between bouts of work.
I've been worn out quite a bit from music. I love the smiles and the ideas that are shared amongst the different age and ethnic groups, but darn is it hard to keep it going without a break.
Makes me wonder whether making it more than a hobby was wise and worthwhile.
There's only one way to know.
