It was really cool getting to see another black person doing cool things in a space where I didn't get to see many of them!
So I'm not going to say it, but um, we know why Lopunny is on this list, right? Like...like we KNOW, right?
I got one of my friends to try the game and someone spent the entire game- the entire 35 minute game- calling them horrible names because they weren't doing well. In their first game.
My only real criticism of deadlock(which really isn't even the game's fault) is that the funny chat bubble screenshots do a disservice to just how toxic it is. There are some absolutely soulless people playing this game and you're more likely to run into them than a funny person.
This game is a Yuri lover's dream, everyone is hot with everyone
You really do have to take dating sims/romances seriously. Not love them. Not know everything about them. Not even play them. But take them seriously. They're a legitimate, influential, long-running genre, and the lack of awareness and acceptance in English-speaking circles should be embarrassing.
My girlfriend did this when we were in bed and I was quite literally seconds from falling asleep and I have not known peace since.

Begging everyone to understand there is 'no such game' that everyone hates. Every game has someone that loves it. Every time you dissuade someone from a game because 'you feel' no one likes it, you are holding back the entire reason people enjoy games.
