When I worked at a well-known London gallery I refused to let Richard O'Brien (Crystal Maze original OG) into a member's private view - because he wasn't a paying member. He spent 10mins trying to convince me. I was having none of it.

Excellent question, we are in touch with GDS and they are aware of this work. We are exploring whether this helps teams in DfE in the immediate, with a view to review whether there is a need for it in the future as content in the GOV.UK service manual is iterated.

DfE has published a plain language standard to support teams in digital delivery. We worked in the open, shared with GDS, and are exploring whether it can help add weight to the use of plain language: dfedigital.blog.gov.uk/2025/03/19/i...

Thank you for sharing. It's nuts how it isn't diagnosed for so long. I remember a doctor leaning over me in an A&E bed saying, 'you're very keen to get to the bottom of this aren't you? But on paper there is nothing wrong with you!' As I was detailing - now I realise - all endo-related symptoms.

You're welcome, and thank you for reading. I feel lucky that I feel ok now. It's crazy how long it can take to get diagnosed. Hope you are ok now too.
