Finally, I played the Modulus demo from @happyvolcano.com a lovely little factory automation game. I can see myself getting fully hyper focussed on this once it launches. And on that note, off I go on holiday. 🎉

This demo is also super cool. I love a shop sim and this one is a great twist with awesome 2D hand drawn style art and a great soundtrack. How many more demos can I fit in before my holiday? Find out later.

Just finished this demo and it was very, very silly. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Rick & Morty style humour and D&D parody. Great art style and there's a crab! 🦀🦀🦀

Yea totally depends on industry and your career goals. For me I've done a lot of work where I have to pitch to business owners so it's kinda crucial for that sort of thing.

Lol. It's my main social platform these days. Games industry folks are pretty active there and it's how I've got my last few jobs. I have some great interactions there but the organic reach is just weird.

Omg hilarious. I liked gothic things but was easily scared with my other active imagination. Was more into fairies, mermaids and making potions out of flowers and berries. And on that note, there's not enough good mermaid movies.

Big fan of anything that Jim Henson's team worked on and Brian Froud. Dark Crystal used to scare me as a kid though, the Skeksis are total nightmare fuel.

The LinkedIn algorithm is so weird. You would assume that increased quality engagement would translate as increased organic reach but it does not. It feels completely random. I have close to 10,000 followers over there and often posts get seen by less than 500 people. 🤷‍♀️

Today's day off comfort watch is Season 1 of Adventure Time followed by a session playing Core Keeper with my partner. ❤️🌈⛏️

I was a size 8-10 and 5'11. First the fashion people told me I was too fat and my hips too wide. Then when I started getting commercial castings, my boobs were too small and I was too tall. Not a great environment for any young person.

I watched the ANTM documentary, Reality Check this week. I grew up watching the show, I've seen every season, it inspired me to try being a model from the age of 16 and later a photographer. I did not remember it being that unethical. Early 00s reality TV & beauty standards were SO messed up. 😭
