Trying to read posts *vague gesture around*, and this bumper sticker by goodbye press resurfaces in my consciousness π

I'm looking for more guests for my nascent #ttrpg podcast. Let me know if you've got an interesting project, or just something you want to chat about, for like 30 or so minutes. My specific interests are indie and OSR-style games, but am happy to chat about anything.
This is a very cool peek-at-process by @mallenhall.com . I love getting to see the notebook pages and maps-under construction!
Doodle comic about summoning gone wrong
Adventurer and undead doodle and d6 based random environment generation
Pen and watercolour doodles.
Pen and watercolour doodles. A dungeon side view, an owl bear, an assassin and a magical hand spell in action
More sketchbook RPG doodles
Thanks for doing this!!! I love these posts.
I donβt really like evocative writing being referred to as βload bearing techβ
I especially liked this installment of Skeleton Code Machine because my partner and I really like playing Lies, Spies & Supplies (sequel/add-on to Land, Air & Sea).
It's game that's both really interesting and pretty simple. Every time we play I get thinking about how we could hack it!
Just launched UHF Contact, an adventure collection for Liminal Horror with art by David Szilagyi

These last four are from the past monthβmy progress slowed a lot because I broke my collarbone (had a fall from my bike).
I tried to draw left handed a lot, and later right-handed with the sling in. But it was frustrating. But, Iβm healing up, got my sling off yesterday, and Iβm ready to draw!!
Photo of a battered sketchbook spread flat so you can see the front & back covers, decorated with spray paint, paint markers and stickers. The spine is labeled with the starting date, June β25.
Close up of the pages-side of the sketchbook, worn and used and spread out from air, collage, pages wrinkled from watercolor.
Just a few more pages left in this sketchbook, so here are a bunch of pages!
Stickers on the covers by Oura, Noah, Bran, Brianβs Books, and EF. Idk who made the Shoplifterβs Guild one.
Getting back on the ZineXXXX wagon. Coming to Kickstarter this February.
UHF Contact contains 3 solo-friendly adventures for Liminal Horror, as well as the tools from Alone in the Dark to facilitate solo play.

Colorful and cartoony mixed media art of robed figure[s] traversing a snaking path through lush plants and chaotic blotches of color and mark-making.
'Wandering Path' from 2023. This is a scan of a mixed media piece, before I cut apart and framed the halves.
This is a hard one to scan, combining wet and dry media, transparent and opaque. The real painting has blotches of fluorescent orange, which scanned as a sort of dull light pink.
If you're interested and missed out on Mausritter Month, the pre-order page is now open =).

Cartoon city-scape of a settlement, hanging from the interior of a ruined structure in a forest. Plumes of smoke curl towards holes in the ceiling. Pouring through, sunbeams illuminate dust motes and the swaying rope bridges which connect platforms and buildings. Tiny mice can be seen traversing the bridges. The illustration is rendered in monochromatic teal, black and white.
Yesterday I finished up the last batch of illustrations for THE BARON'S GRIP! Here is one of a settlement which I won't describe too much... you need to go there, or hear a rumor!!

Photo of a sunlit cafeteria in a corporate office building
Photo of a wooden cabinet standing in the corner of a room next to a potted snake plant.
Closeup of a strip of blue painter's tape on the cabinet that reads "Internal Comms"
Photo of a temporary keycard
Today I infiltrated a Corpo's HQ, found the Internal Comms cabinet and stole a keycard. Solid day.
Helllll yeeeeah, love a 0.9, that's a good one too.
Thanks so much!! π
A wheel of spot illustrations of a variety of animal NPCs from THE BARON'S GRIP.
Last day to back The Baron's Grip, and all the Mausritter Month Projects! @mallenhall.com is making an amazing book, and I'm super proud of the art I've been contributing.
A big thank you to our backers, from some of our important NPCs!

COME AND GET IT!!!
However, on your 3rd time drawing an object, you've already studied and 'learned' it. You have to slow down to draw something with your offhand. So maybe the lines are a bit shaky, but the results are usually pretty cool.
The idea is to try different approaches that you wouldn't normally consider, and trick yourself into being fearless. A drawing with your off-hand isn't expected to come out 'good,' so the pressure is off.
Open sketchbook with two plastic toys sitting on the oage, a bee and a lizard. The page is covered in notes and scratchy line drawings in ballpoint pen of both toys from various angles.
I use exercises like this in my sketchbook classes, sometimes iterating on the process instead of the results. Like, have the students pick a random toy out of a bag.
1. Draw it from observation
2. Do a blind contour drawing of it
3. Draw the object with your off-hand
