Tried using Safari’s Private Browsing (and having all cross-site options turned off in my Safari & Facebook app settings) to see the WH website to avoid targeted ads and this obviously failed and didn’t keep Facebook from popping this one up 4 minutes later 🙄
Got the Disney+ email w/the price increases next month. I have to say I love they tried to bs their way through this by increasing prices to “invest in the stories you love…committed to bringing you the highest quality productions…” Instead of “We FAFO, lost over $6 billion and want it back.”
Tonight I tried a little reverse psychology on my toddler after she left the dinner table to go back to her Play Doh:
Me: “Well if you’re all done I’m going to eat the rest of your noodles.”
Toddler: “Hey! Those my noodles!”
Me: “You should come back and eat them.”
Toddler: “No. Leave them.”

And because he and Vance got all pissy in the meeting for not being thanked for their aid, it spiraled downhill quick and I think Trump knew he couldn’t strong-arm Velensky into the deal he wanted, so he didn’t need to be there and booted them out after the meeting. It’s maddening to watch this.

Yep! It’s hard to pass up a giant box of 500 wipes for under $20, but we’re looking for something else. I also liked Huggies wipes, but no idea what they’re like overall as a company and I’d have to order online from their store I guess 🤷♀️
Important for today (& really going forward if it’s feasible for people). There’s also a whole list of specific company blackout days over the next 2 months floating around online. Only thing I did miss on today was I had to use my Visa card for gas because I forgot to pull out enough cash for it 🫣
Same for us. It’s one of the few places I can get larger boxes of diapers and wipes at a reasonable price and the brand that doesn’t give my kid a rash. And they have frequent discounts on the kid and pet supplies we need.
Absolutely agree. I’ve had more real & open conversations with people I met through Twitch than in any irl place in years. And some I’ve known for several years now. We actively check in with each other and they’ve celebrated the best moments and comforted at my lows.

I’m worried for all of my family & friends in the LGBTQIA+ community. I also worry for my 2 young daughters. They’re 2 and 6 years old. The choices from any president can last years to decades, but this is what they’ll grow up knowing as “just how it was” until something changes for the better 💔
So many things I could rant & express my anger on here…but at the end my head goes to “We knew this day was coming. Trump didn’t hide his plans. What he wanted to get rid of. The people he takes money from so they get what they want. The people who voted for this are ok & share these values”
Trump was also the guy throwing rolls of paper towels to hurricane victims in Puerto Rico like they were t-shirts at a sports game. There’s always a huge disconnect of the wealthy to the common person and he just embodies all the stereotypes.

I go to my local library about every other month w/my kids to check out books. Also, I work in a college library where we see hundreds of students a day & I work w/patrons from all over of the world to help them with research. They’re still well used & needed. #libraries
