The executive order to halt gender affirming care for minors was also moot, and hospitals jumped. The intent is to chill as much activity as possible, regardless of the viability of the law, as orgs will self-comply.

This is trans people as well. not their parents, not their siblings. Trans people.

Estimates on the US population are that 1-2% of the US are transgender. That means that 6-11% of the TOTAL trans population fled their homes since the 2024 election.

There are over 400,000 internal refugees within the US, having to flee their home states because of harassment and targeted attacks *by their governments* - to say nothing of the social/community harassment and attacks, or the people who don't have the means to flee.
